Rotary Drum Screen (Internal) Introduction
Rotary Drum Screen is the equipment which can continuously and effectively remove suspended solids from waste water. It is mainly used for municipal and industrial wastewater pre-treatment process. In some wastewater treatment, it is can be removed 30%- 60% organic or inorganic suspended solids. It can greatly reduce the workload for the subsequent process. The equipment is widely used in fine solids filtration, such as food, brewing, pharmaceutical, dairy and other industries.
Rotary Drum Screen (Internal) Working Principle
The drum is horizontally rotated under the support of four runners. It is driven by TEFC reducer, anti-corrosion roller chain and stainless steel sprocket. The spray system automatically sprays clean water. The raw water flows in the inner of the drum through the overflow tank. The filtered raw water is diverted to the central drainage area through the bottom plate deflector and flows into the next sewage treatment unit; the slag in the raw water is blocked on the inner surface of the drum filter and is discharged as the drum rotates.
